Autumn in New South Wales Alpine regions

Updated: May 6

I finally managed to experience the cold glory of an autumn morning near the Alps. I had meant to do it for a long time and am glad I did.

This morning's sunrise was beautiful, and the fog covered just enough for me to grab some quick shots of the magic that unfolded right before me. The autumn colors displayed in the areas from Jindabyne to Canberra were breath taking. The landscapes here are very different from what I am used to in Queensland. These areas are not precisely Canadian Rockies, but they are pretty up there on the list for me.

Here are some shots and a video from my visit today. It was well worth it.
