Last week, I visited my second home, Fiji, for a family reunion. I decided to spend two days on the Western side of the Island before making my way to the East, where I was raised. The days were magical, and the nights spectacular. My second day on the Island happened to fall on the 10th of October, Fiji Day: 10 October, the anniversary of Fiji's independence from British colonial rule in 1970.
The day was full of festivities and a wide range of food. I spent most of my time drinking cocktails and swimming under the hot Fijian sun.
Here are some pictures from the glorious day.
