I have been meaning to visit this location for quite some time. I am glad I finally made the time to drive to this beautiful part of Queensland. Kooroomba Estate is located in Fassifern Valley at Mt Alford near Boonah, about 60 minutes from Brisbane and 1hr 30 minutes from the Gold Coast.
The property consists of a cellar door, restaurant, and lavender shop overlooking a six-hectare vineyard and breathtaking lavender fields. The centerpiece is a wedding chapel with magnificent views of the Scenic Rim mountains.
My next visit will be planned for a stormy day or a clear sky night.
