Narooma is a stunner.

Updated: May 7

Narooma is a stunning coastal town about 5 hrs drive from Sydney if you include coffee breaks. I checked into Discovery Holiday Park at Narooma last night for a two-night stay in this beautiful part of the country.

After getting my much-needed sleep from driving most of yesterday, I went out to do some location hunting for Astrophotos tonight. The weather wasn't favourable but the local beauties made up for it.

This place has amazing rock formations and a beautiful golf course by the water. The highlight of my day, however, was the seals. Yes, seals. This place has lots of them. It is very easy to see them too. Just visit the landmark called Australia Rock, and you'll find them meters away, sleeping or playing on the rocks alongside the inlet. There were so many pups and one of them just loved talking to the tourist. They are not bothered by human presence. Most of them were blissfully sleeping ignoring us humans fussing over them.

Here are some shots from my walkaround today.
